AUTUMN COLORS

AREAL PHOTOGRAPHY ABOUT THE VIVID COLORS OF THE BRENTA DOLOMITES
COMMISSIONED by VISIT TRENTINO

In September & October, as the season progresses and the temperatures are getting lower and lower, I feel like my time has finally come. I love to document how the weather and
the seasons affect the landscape. In autumn,
I capture the diversity of the colours; then in winter I capture the lack of the colours. It’s a game that requires perfect timing, preparation and dedication, because everything happens so quickly that I can easily miss the perfect colours
or conditions if my calculations went wrong. The Brenta Group is my favourite part of the Dolomites, Italy. I visited these magnificent mountains for the first time in 2013, ever since I just keep coming back this one particular region. Last autumn I was fortunate enough to work for Visit Trentino and Visit a Comano, the official tourism boards of the Brenta Dolomites. My mission was to showcase the vivid autumn colours of Comano
Region. In this series of photos I focused on the everychanging connection between the larch trees and the fast moving clouds.
