7 VIEWPOINTS AROUND MY VILLAGE
SHORT FILM FOR TOURISM BOARD of HUNGARY
This year's vacation lasted for 2 months - and I didn't event have to cross the border of our county.
Unfortunately the Hungarian tourism had been hit hard by COVID-19 as well. So this summer, when the restrictions lifted a bit, the Tourism Board of Hungary launched a new campaign to boost the local tourism after the pandemic. The brief was to demostrate that domestic traveling is safe now and people don't even have to travel far because there are tons of beautiful places in our own country.
So they asked me to shoot a short film about my daily life in the countryside of Keszthely Hills, where I moved to when the pandemic reached our country, too. Because I spent half of my life in these forests, and because I like to ride my mountain bike with at least a camera always on my back, I decided to shoot a film about the 7 viewpoints which are located in the Keszthely Hills. One of my favourite daily mountainbike route is to climb up each of them, so the theme of the film was an obvious choice. Written, directed, photographed, edited etc. by me.
The production took 2 months from the location scoutings to the actual shootings and editing.
