PHOTO SHOOTING AND BRAND IDENTITY FOR VUUV WORKS

As a full time advertising creative, I love to work for clients who give me the opportunity to be part of their campaigns not just as a commissioned photographer but as a creative, too. That’s why one of my favourite job / side project lately was the shooting for VUUV Works, an ethical and sustainable craftsmanship who are creating handcrafted pieces of furniture and customisable marquetry surfaces. The colour palette and the visual world of the brand was inspired by the sea and the desert (Anna Lébényi, the founder of VUUV Works and my close friend, lived in Egypt when she was a child), so it was vital for me to find a location for the shooting with the same characteristics. After another lengthy location scouting on Google Maps we found the beautiful island called Pag in Croatia. The rugged, white rocky landscape and the crystal clear Adriatic Sea served as a perfect background for the surface of the natural and dyed wood patterns. BTS photos by Anna Lébényi.
